Finding & Training Employees

Minnesota Works

WorkForce Center Partners assist businesses with listing job openings on Minnesota Works, the primary online job bank in the state. We work with businesses to post jobs, search for qualified applicants and help set up a confidential employer account.

Interviewing & Recruiting

Interviewing and recruiting space is available at no cost to employers, and we can also assist with applicant recruitment and/or screening, administer career assessments to potential employees, advertise job openings, contact potential applicants, interview and make recommendations on potential employees.

Training Employees

On the Job Training (OJT) is a programs designed to help individuals acquire skills in occupations that will enhance their prospects for long-term employment and will ultimately permit them to become self-sufficient. OJT matches employers and job seekers, and allows eligible individuals to develop job skills through work, at a low cost to employers. On the job training reimburses the employer up to 50 percent of the employee’s wage for a fixed period of time, with the intent that the OJT will lead to a regular job upon completion of the training.
