SUMMARY:Southwest Minnesota Workforce Cohorts
DESCRIPTION:The SW MN Workforce Cohorts are designed to help employers in Southwest Minnesota to attract and retain a diverse workforce needed now and in the future.  Cohort peers will be focused on developing and sharing best practices for employee retention and overall growth of SW MN. \nSessions will be led by Whitney Harvey\, Sr. Director of Workforce Diversity and Inclusion\, Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Foundation and will include additional guest speakers at each session. \nFrequently Asked Questions:\n\nFREE for Employers to attend!\nBusiness representatives are required to attend ALL FIVE – 2 hour sessions.\nFour meetings are virtual\, and the last 5th meeting will be in-person\nTraining will include baseline assessments that will help employers identify opportunities\, and recruitment and retention tools to lay the foundation for success.\nEmployers will create strategies for growth and an inclusive workforce action plan for their workplace as part of the training.\nAll attendees will receive a certificate upon completion\, and Busniess will be celebrated as a graduate of the training in our marketing materials and press release.\n\nCohort Meeting Dates\nAll Sessions run from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm \n\nNovember 13\, 2024\nDecember 18\, 2024\nJanuary 15\, 2025\nFebruary 19\, 2025\nMarch 19\, 2025\n\nCohort Training Schedule Final \n  \nFor More information and to register\, CLICK HERE\nRSVP by November 8\, 2024 \n
