The Southwest Minnesota Private Industry Council is proud to offer Ticket to Work services as an approved Employment Network through the American Dream Employment Network.

If you receive Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and are between the ages of 18–64, this free and voluntary program can help you explore work while understanding how it may impact your benefits.

The Ticket to Work program is designed to support individuals with disabilities in returning to work, increasing their income, and building long-term financial stability, without risking the loss of benefits unexpectedly.

Benefits and Work Incentive Advisement at No Cost

Through a Certified Work Incentive Practitioner (CWIP), you will receive clear, personalized guidance on:

  • How earnings may affect your cash benefits
  • What happens to your health insurance (Medicare/Medicaid)
  • Which Social Security Work Incentives are available to support you

This service helps remove the fear and confusion around working while receiving benefits.

Who is Eligible?

You may qualify if you:

Receive SSDI or SSI benefits
Live in our 14-county Southwest Minnesota region
Are between the ages of 18–64
Are interested in exploring or returning to work
