Southwest Minnesota Workforce Cohorts

The SW MN Workforce Cohorts are designed to help employers in Southwest Minnesota to attract and retain a diverse workforce needed now and in the future. Cohort peers will be focused on developing and sharing best practices for employee retention and overall growth of SW MN.
Sessions will be led by Whitney Harvey, Sr. Director of Workforce Diversity and Inclusion, Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Foundation and will include additional guest speakers at each session.

- FREE for Employers to attend!
- Business representatives are required to attend ALL FIVE – 2 hour sessions.
- Four meetings are virtual, and the last 5th meeting will be in-person
- Training will include baseline assessments that will help employers identify opportunities, and recruitment and retention tools to lay the foundation for success.
- Employers will create strategies for growth and an inclusive workforce action plan for their workplace as part of the training.
- All attendees will receive a certificate upon completion, and Busniess will be celebrated as a graduate of the training in our marketing materials and press release.
