The PIC administers Adult and Dislocated Worker Programs designed to provide quality employment and training services to assist eligible individuals in finding a job and to help employers find the skilled workers they need to complete and succeed in the workforce.
In the past year, we worked with almost 300 individuals through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Career Pathways Programs. We trained these participants in 16 different in-demand occupational areas to prepare them for successful careers. After training, our clients went back into the workforce with an average increased wage gain of $4.04/hour.
