The Southwest Minnesota Private Industry Council (PIC) is proud to celebrate the accomplishments of Antonio Ledbetter, Bridgette Grunewald, Maria Peters, and Torrie Ward, who have successfully completed the rigorous requirements to become Certified Career Services Providers (CCSP) / Global Career Development Facilitators (GCDF).
This nationally recognized certification, developed by the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) in partnership with the National Career Development Association (NCDA), is a benchmark for professionals in the field of career development. Initially introduced in the U.S. in 1997 as the Career Development Facilitator (CDF), the credential expanded internationally in 2001 and was renamed the GCDF to reflect its global reach. Today, over 30,000 professionals across 23 countries hold this distinction.
To earn the GCDF credential, individuals must complete 120+ hours of training across 12 core competencies, commit to a professional Code of Ethics, and demonstrate hands-on experience in career development. The program taken by our staff took nine months to complete, a testament to their commitment and dedication to serving others with excellence.
At the PIC, we are deeply committed to ensuring our team is equipped with the highest level of training and expertise. Having GCDF-certified professionals on our staff enhances our ability to provide career seekers with high-quality, knowledgeable guidance grounded in nationally recognized standards.
We are proud of Antonio, Bridgette, Maria, and Torrie, and we are grateful for the continued value they bring to our community through their professional growth and commitment to lifelong learning.
